“ADDRESS PILGRIMS AS GOVINDA AND RENDER SERVICE”- TTD CHAIRMAN


Tirumala, 30 March 2016: TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy called upon the Srivari Sevakulu to treat the pilgrims as Lord and refer them as “Govinda” while rendering services to scores of pilgrims.

Addressing Srivari Sevakulu in Srivari Seva Sadan office at Tirumala on Wednesday, he said, offering services to multitude of pilgrims is a God-given opportunity and every one should make the best possible use of this rare opportunity by rendering services to pilgrims with utmost discipline, devotion and dedication.”It is great to see that so far 6,81,000 Srivari Sevakulu have rendered services to pilgrims in the past 16 years since its inception in the year 2000. You will be provided training with Satyasai Seva Organisation soon in offering qualitative services to pilgrims”, he added.

Complimenting Srivari Sevakulu for successfully taking forward Laddu Prasada Seva in Laddu Issuing Complex, the TTD Board Chief said, the women volunteers are turning out more in numbers and rendering impeccable services to pilgrims. “Your uniform code gives us a revered feel about you and Weser Goddess Padmavathi in all of you”, the chairman said amidst the applause of volunteers.

The chairman also given call to the volunteers to take part in the devout service during annual Brahmotsavams at Ontimitta in Kadapa district which will be from April 14-24. “Especially the locals aged below 45 years can participate here, as it is a very hot district”, he added.

INSPECTION AT NEW SEVA SADAN

Earlier the chairman inspected the new Seva Sadan building which is coming up at Rs.78cr in the sprawling area located opposite to Varahaswamy rest house in Tirumala. SE 2 Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Pro Dr T Ravi, EEs Sri Prasad Babu, Sri Srinivasulu, APRO Ms P Neelima were also present.
