ALL RITUALS PERFORMED AS PER AGAMAS- TTD CHAIRMAN

Rajamundry, 25 July 2015: TTD Trust Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy on Saturday advocated that all the rituals were performed to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara in replica temple at Rajamundry Municipal Grounds as per Vaikhanasa Agama which is followed in Tirumala temple.

Talking to media persons on final day of Pushkaram he said, this event was a grand success with the able administration of Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu who personally monitored every arrangement. The replica temple constructed by TTD added the extra devotional quotients with the presence of Lord Venkateswara in the temple city. “All the rituals including Suprabhatam, Thomala and Archana were performed to Lord as per Agamas alone. The devotees had a pleasant darshan from 4:30 am till 10 pm every day during the Pushkaram period and our employees did excellent job”, he appreciated.

Later Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, the temple will remain open till the last devotee had darshan on Saturday evening the final day of Pushkaram and later the deity will be shifted. He also thanked the officials of various departments of state government for lending their help to TTD in making elaborate arrangements for Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015.
