ALL ROADS LEADS TO ACSR STADIUM IN NELLORE

NELLORE, AUGUST 9: The city of Nellore is abuzz with denizen activity on Sunday as all streets in the city lead to the spacious AC Subba Reddy Stadium where the third phase of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotavams are in progress.

It being a holiday, the devotees thronged to catch the glimpse of Lord Venkateswara and the rituals that are being offered to Him as in Tirumala.

Later speaking on the occasion, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, the local devotees are acquainted with the daily sevas which included Suprabhatam, Thomala, Archana, Vasanthotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva and Ekanta Seva. “From tomorrow onwards, the temple priests will perform weekly sevas on every week day like Viseshapuja on Monday, Astadala Padapadmaradhana on Tuesday, Sahasra Kalasabhishekam on Wednesday, Tiruppavada on Thursday, Abhishekam on Friday. On Saturday there will be Kalyanotsavam and on final day, that is on August 16 Pushpayagam will be performed as a purificatory festival”, he maintained.

He thanked the denizens of Nellore for maintaining utmost discipline and continue the same till the end of the nine-day mega religious event.
