ALL SET FOR RATHOTSAVAM AND CHAKRASNANAM-TIRUMALA JEO
TIRUMALA, OCT 11: Among the important events in the ongoing mega religious festival of annual brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set for the giant Rathotsavam, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Addressing media persons in Media Centre on Friday, he said, On the penultimate day of Brahmotsavams, the gigantic wooden chariot is being pulled by hundreds of pilgrims along the four mada streets. “We are prepared for the smooth conduct of the event”, he maintained.
Adding on he said, all the vehicle processions have taken place in a pleasant manner in spite of the unfavourable conditions that have been prevailing in the state from the past two months. “I specially thank APSRTC and APSPDCL for their services and support. The pilgrims have turned out in large numbers during the Garuda Seva. We have even overcome the troubles which we encountered during the trial-run of Golden Chariot”, he said.
“On the last day, for Chakrasnanam, we have designated galleries to the pilgrims and TTD employees and they will be allowed in the same for the smooth run of the concluding event”, he said.
He complimented the officers, employees of various departments and other volunteers from various organisations for their team work and support in making elaborate arrangements for the brahmotsavams without causing any inconvenience to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.
