TTD JEO REVIEWS ON ARRANGEMENTS
TIRUCHANOOR, OCT 28: The Joint EO of TTD, Tirupati Sri P Bhaskar on Wednesday morning reviewed on the arrangements of annual brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru in Tiruchanoor which is scheduled from December 8 to 16.
The review meeting held with the temple officials and other senior officers of the major departments at Asthana Mandapam. He instructed the officials that the mega religious event should be performed with utmost grandeur involving pilgrims and devotees in huge numbers.
He has instructed the Engineering wing to complete all the pending works in and around the temple premises and also check all the vehicles of various vahana sevas. “Complete the repairs if at all in Vahana Mandapam and in Asthana Mandapam well in advance before November end”, he maintained.
He has directed the health wing to see that Jalaprasadam is available to the devotees at all the junctions. “Set up temporary shoe keeping and cell phone counters and mobile toilets to match the demand from the pilgrims during the big festival. Focus on the vehicular parking and traffic restrictions during Panchami Teertham day”, he added.
Reviewing with garden wing officials, he said, the dioramas should be more attractive and enhance the glory of the temple. He also instructed the electrical wing to come out with interesting themes of electrical illumination during the fete.
Moving on to security arrangements, he directed the officials concerned to deploy sufficient number of vigilance and security sleuths and also Srivari Seva Volunteers and scouts and guides for the occasion. “The Annaprasadam wing should make arrangements to serve five thousand pilgrims on other days of brahmotsavams and 50thousand pilgrims during Panchami Teertham. He instructed health and medical wings of TTD to be prepared to tackle the multitude of visiting pilgrims by keeping stock of medicines.
Later he instructed all projects to plan programmes which are unique with bhajan troupes, artistes to perform during the occasion. “The HDPP should take up wide publicity of the event through Dharma Prachara Rathams across the district”, he observed.
Temple Special grade deputy EO Smt Chenchulakshmi, SE III Sri Sudhakar Rao, VGO Sri Ravinder Reddy, police, fire, panchayat, revenue and other officials were also present.
