ANKURARPANAM FOR PUSHPAYAGAM

Tiurmala, 17 November 2015: Ankurarpanam for Pushpayagam was observed in Hill Shrine of Tirumala on Tuesday evening. In connection with this fete, TTD has cancelled Vasanthotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva. Later the Senadhipathi was taken on a celestial procession in four mada streets and brought to the temple.

The temple priests performed Mritsangrahanam ceremony in a religious way followed by Beejovapnam fete.

TTD Trust Board Member Sri AV Ramana, Temple Peishkar Sri R Selvam, TTD officials took part in this ceremony.

Meanwhile there will be snapana Tirumanjanam on Wednesday in connection with Pushpayagam from 9am to 11am followed by the floral ceremony from 1pm to 5 pm. TTD has cancelled Sahasra kalasabhishekam, Kalyanotsavam, unjal Seva, arjitha Brahmotsavam and vasanthotsavam in connection with this annual festival.
