TIRUPATI, 03 JUNE 2023: The Ankurarpanam-ritual of prelude for Maha Samprokshanam festivities in Srivari temple at Majin village in Jammu was observed on Saturday.

As a part of the religious event, Acharya Varanam, Punyahavachanam, Mritsangrahanam, Ankurarpanam was observed between 6pm and 8pm.

SIGNIFICANCE OF ANKURARPANAM:

Ankuararpanam means “sowing the seed”. The essence of this ritual is to make a Sankalpa(Wish) to celebrate a utsavam (Festival) and get the grace of the Lord.

Sastras prescribe doing Ankurarpanam or Beejavapanam, sowing of seeds in sacred mud pots will be done 9, 7 5, 3 days or at least one day before the festival.

This ritual is performed in the evenings as the dictum has its basis in astrological principles.

As Chandra – the Moon God is said to be the “Sasyakaraka” – the controller of plants, the seed sowing ceremony is performed in nights only before every festival.

Agamas, the holy texts also mention that the sprouts that emanate from the seeds imply the successful celebration of the fete.

VAIDIKA RITUALS

From June 4 to 7, other Vaidika rituals will be performed while on June 8, Maha Samprokshanam will be observed between 7:30am and 8:15am in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam.From 9:30am onwards, darshan for devotees commences.

One of the chief priests of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu, Kankanabhattar Sri Ramakrishna Deekshitulu, DyEOs Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Siva Prasad, EE Sri Sudhakar, DyEE Sri Raghu Verma, AEO Sri Krishna Rao, AE Sri Seetaramaraju, Superintendent Sri Subrahmanyam and others were present.

తిరుపతి, 03 జూన్ 2023: జమ్మూలోని మజీన్ గ్రామంలో టీటీడీ నిర్మించిన శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయ మహాసంప్రోక్షణకు శనివారం రాత్రి శాస్ర్తోక్తంగా అంకురార్పణ జరిగింది.

ఇందులో భాగంగా సాయంత్రం 6 నుంచి రాత్రి 8 గంటల వరకు ఆచార్యవరణం, పుణ్యాహవచనం, మృత్సంగ్రహణం, అంకురార్పణ కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించారు. జూన్ 4 నుంచి 7వ తేదీ వరకు వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.

జూన్ 8న ఉదయం 7.30 నుంచి 8.15 గంటల వరకు మిధున లగ్నంలో మహా సంప్రోక్షణ నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఉదయం 9.30 గంటల నుండి భక్తులకు స్వామివారి దర్శనం ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలకు శ్రీవారి కల్యాణోత్సవం నిర్వహిస్తారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో శ్రీవారి ఆలయ ప్రధానార్చకుల్లో ఒకరైన శ్రీ వేణుగోపాలదీక్షితులు, కంకణభట్టార్ శ్రీ రామకృష్ణ దీక్షితులు, డెప్యూటీ ఈవోలు శ్రీ గుణభూషణ్ రెడ్డి, శ్రీ శివప్రసాద్, ఇఇ శ్రీ సుధాకర్, డెప్యూటీ ఇఇ శ్రీ రఘువర్మ, ఏఈవో శ్రీ కృష్ణారావు, ఏఈ శ్రీ సీతారామరాజు, సూపరింటెండెంట్ శ్రీ సుబ్రహ్మణ్యం తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
