ANNAMAIAH DEPICTED SHARANAGATI TATWA OF ALWARS IN HIS SONGS-SCHOLARS

Tirupati,13 May 2017:Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya focused on “Saranagati Tatwa” taught by Sri Ramanujacharya and Alwars in his sankeertans, said retired Prof. Sri Sarvottama Rao.

As a part of the ongoing week long literary sadas in connection with 609th Annamcharya Jayanthi in Annamacharya Kalamandiram on Saturday, he said, he also included all the pilgrim centres he visited during his life time in his sankeertans.

Later Dr CN Kshetrapal Reddy said, Annamacharya portrayed the religious, economic, social affairs that prevailed during his time in his sankeertans.

Dr Uday Kumar speaking on this occasion said, both Annamacharya and Sri Malayala Swamy aimed at bringing spiritual awareness and enlightenment among the masses.
