ANNAMAIAH SAHASRA KEERTANA IN NEXT SIX MONTHS TIRUPATI JEO

Tirupati, 6 March 2016: In the next six months we are contemplating to observe Annamaiah Sahasra Keertana Vaibhavam, said Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

Releasing the new composed CDs in Annamacharya Kalamandiram on Sunday evening he said the SV Recording project was started in1990. Till 2014 only 1517 keertans were recorded. To revive the project we hae chalked out an actiin plan and in the last two years we have brought out 600 new songs in the form of cds and another 750 in pipeline. By this september we are contemplating four hundred more new songs of Annamaiah and with this the recording of 1000 songs will be completed in just two years span”, he added.

Complimenting Sri Munirathnam Reddy, spl.gr.dy.eo and Sri Subramanyam, technical officer, both employees of TTD for coming out with rare notes of Annamaiah in their melodious voice.

Eminent scholars and singers including Sri Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Sri KJ Krishnamurty, sri saikrishna yachendra, Dyeos Sri Vijaya Saradhi, Smt Sarada, VGO Smt Vimalakumari, sri madhusudhana rao, Sri Narayana and others were also present.

Later both sri munirathnam reddy and subramanyan rendered a few songs from their respective cdsincluding Annitanu Hari in Mohana, Chennalara Bhupati in Valaji and others.

The audience were spell bound by the majical voice of the TTD officer singer duo.
