ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS IN SRI KT CONCLUDES WITH TRISULA SNANAM

Tirupati, 26 February 2017: The annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple has come to a grand ceremonial conclusion with the celestial Trisula Snanam performed on Sunday by temple priests as per the tenets of Saivagama.

Trisula Snapanam was performed to the trident weapon of Lord Shiva between 10am and 11am. Before that Sri Nataraja Swamy was taken on a celestial ride on Suryaprabha Vahanam between 7am and 9am.

The archakas recited Shiva Suktam and performed special Abhishekam to Trisulam in the temple Pushkarini. With this the annual Brahmotsavams in the temple came to an end.

DHWAJAVAROHANAM

In the evening Dhwajavarohanam was performed between 6pm and 7:30pm. The celestial Nandi Flag hoisted on the temple pillar post was brought down amidst chanting of Vedic mantras marking the successful conclusion of the mega religious fete.

RAVANABRAHMA VAHANAM

The Lord was taken on a celestial ride on Ravanasura Vahanam between 8pm and 10pm on the Sunday. The devotees were enthralled by the divine sight of Lord on Ravanasura Vahanam.

Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Suptd Sri Obul Reddy, Temple Inspectors Sri K Narayana, Sri Muralikrishna, AVSO Sri Raju, Exe Engineer Sri Jagadeeswara Reddy and others took part in the event.
