AP CHIEF MINISTER INAUGURATED VASANTHA MANDAPAM

Tirumala, 2 June 2010: Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri K.Rosaiah inaugurated Newly Constructed VASANTHA MANDAPAM at Tirumala on Wednesday morning.

The New Vasanthotsavam Mandapam was planned duly providing the existing central mandapam (SANNIDHI) at the same place for performing Sri Vari Vasanthotsavam and the outer wall of mandapam with temple architecture of stone masonry.

Inside Mandapam in front of the Sannidhi there are 12nos of Annivoti stone Sthambhams are erected.
Inside Mandapam all round of the Sannidhi there are 8 nos. of Chitrakanta sthambams are erected.

Estimated cost —- Rs. 5. 16 crores
Size of the Mandapam —- 143’-0 x 72’-0”
Plinth area —- 10300 sft
Accommodation —- 1200 grihasthas
Date of handing over site —- 20-01-2006
Date of completion —- 31-03-2010
