AP CM LAUDS TTD FOR ITS IMPECCABLE SERVICES DURING GODAVARI MAHA PUSHKARAM 2015

RAJAMUNDRY, JULY 24: The Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu on Friday lauded the services of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams during Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015 in Rajamundry and complimented TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju for outstanding arrangements.

A team of senior officers lead by TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy have formally met AP CM in R and B Guest House in Rajamundry. The Trust Board Chief and Tirumala JEO offered the Head of the State with the prasadams of Lord Venkateswara.

Later speaking to media persons, AP CM complimented TTD for the elaborate arrangements they have made during Maha Pushkaram. “Tens of thousands of pilgrims thronged the replica temple of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy every day which was constructed by you in this temple city. TTD should construct such temples whenever there are events of this kind and propagate Venkateswara Bhakti Cult across the country”, he added.

PAT TO TIRUMALA JEO: AP CM has complimented Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju for his efforts in taking the lead in making elaborate arrangements in every area to make the religious event a grand success.

TTD IS SUPREME IN PILGRIM CROWD MANAGEMENT: “In spite of heavy rush, your services in the area of pilgrim management are commendable. You out smart everyone in this area and in fact you are role model to others in pilgrim crowd management”, AP CM applauded TTD.

ANNAPRASADAMS ARE GOOD: The CM also lauded TTD for making elaborate arrangements of serving Annaprasadam to devotees within a short notice.”So far since July 20 onwards, over 85thousand devotees have been served delicious Sambar Rice and Curd Rice in TTD Kalyanamandapam in Rajamundry. I compliment the officials for their arrangements. The Annaprasadam activity should be expanded to sub-shrines also in order to enhance faith among the denizens on Hindu Sanatana Dharma”, he added.

HDPP PROGRAMMES ARE OUTSTANDING: The Chief Minister said that the programmes designed by Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad wing of TTD are excellent. “The three-day spiritual discourse by Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao in Arts College Grounds, other spiritual programmes in Subramanya Maidanam,folk arts and traditional dances before procession of utsava murthy to Pushkar Ghat etc. are attractive”, he complimented. Adding further he said, TTD should spread its religious and spiritual activities. “Wherever there are mega religious events like this, you should carryout your dharmic programmes to win the confidence of the devotees”, he observed.

CM INQUIRES ON TTD TRUSTS AND SCHEME: Later the AP CM inquired JEO on various Trusts and Scheme run by TTD including the functioning of SV Annaprasadam Trust and SV Pranadanam Trust.

STAFF MEMBERS AND SEVAKULU EXCEL IN SERVICE: The AP CM poured accolades on the 500 odd staff members of TTD including Sulabh Workers and others for their commendable services and also the voluntary services rendered by nearly 700 Srivari Sevakulu during Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015 and wished them to work with same zeal and spirit in future also.

Among the officers who met CM, SE II Sri Sudhakar Rao, HDPP Secretary Sri Prayaga Ramakrishna, DyEOs Sri Venugopal, Sri Balaji, Smt Sharada, Health Officer Smt Sermistha, Temple OSD Sri P Seshadri, EE Sri Nageswara Rao, DE Sri Ravishankar Reddy were also present.
