ARRANGEMENTS IN FULL SWING FOR MEGA EVENT OF SKVST

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 19 February 2016: Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Friday evening reviewed the ongoing arrangements for the mega religious event of the nine-day brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram which is scheduled from February 27 to March 6.

As the event is exactly a week away, the JEO reviewed the arrangements with the HoDs of various departments in the temple premises.

He has instructed the HDPP to take up the publicity activity in a big way with Prachara Rathams in and surrounding villages of Mangapuram and Chandragiri.

He has also instructed the concerned heads to set up flex banners, arches in all the important circles including Rajampeta, Chandragiri, Tiruchanoor bypass for the information of the public.

Later the JEO directed the electrical and garden wings of TTD to come out with unique and interesting illumination and floral themes.

He also instructed the vigilance, srivari seva, scouts and others to liaison with local police and make necessary security arrangements for the nine-day event.

Earlier TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao released wall poster and publicity materials of the nine-day Annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram in his chambers in Tirupati on Friday.

Meanwhile the Shobha Yatra of the Lakshmi Haram from Alipiri to Srinivasa Mangapuram via Arts college will be observed on March 2 and the precious jewel from Tirumala will be decked to Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy on the same day night for Garuda Vahana Seva.

Temple DyEO Sri Venkataiah, SE I Sri M Ramesh Reddy and other HoDs, Chandragiri CI Sri Siva Prasad were also present.
