AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR DPMs CONCLUDES

TIRUPATI, DEC 25:  The two day awareness programme for District Dharmika Prachara Mandalis concluded in SVETA building at Tirupati on Wednesday.

Addressing the members of various district DPMs hailing from different parts of the state, the HDPP In-charge Sri Raghunath said, the DPMs should render sincere services in the remote areas especially in the agency areas where there is a threat perception of conversions are more. He asked the district wings to actively participate in the noble mission taken up by TTD for the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma Prachara. He later briefed them on various dharmic programmes undertaken by TTD including Subhapradham, Managudi, Sadacharam and dharmic exams.

Later in his address the Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam Project Officer Sri Ramachandra Reddy said that as a part of the propagation of Hindu Dharma TTD has mooted a novel idea of performing Srinivasa Kalyanam not only in the state and in the country but also across the world from the past few years. This noble concept has now won world wide acclaim. “TTD chalked out an action plan to perform 200 Srinivasa Kalyanams in a year. But the major concentration is in the agency areas. Among these celestial marriages, 60% will be performed within the state”, he added. He elaborated to the members of DPMs on the norms and guidelines to perform Srinivasa Kalyanams.

Various district DPM members were present in the meeting.
