AYUDHA PUJA PERFORMED IN A GRAND MANNER AT TIRUMALA TRANSPORT

Tirumala, 18 October, 2014: As a part of the routine practice, Ayudha Pooja has been performed in the TTD Transport Work Shop at Tirumala on Saturday in a grand manner.

TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who took part in the auspicious fete said, there are around 375 vehicles rendering impeccable services to Lord Venkateswara in the promotion of Venkateswara Bhakti cult. There are about 16 Dharma Rathams in Tirumala to transport pilgrims to their desired destinations for free at a frequency of every three minutes interval. He also complimented the drivers of TTD for their expertise in ghat road driving by maintaining almost zero percent accident graph. “I always wish that you all continue the same spirit in future too”, he added.

Later he complimented the leadership of GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy and his team for their impeccable services.
Meanwhile, for the first time the entire premises of workshop has been beautifully decked up with balloons, festoons, illumination. The seven feet replica of Lord Venkateswara on the dias stood as special attraction.

Later the JEO along with Sri Sesha Reddy took part in the special puja performed to vehilces on this occasion.

Deputy EOs Sri Bhupathi Reddy, Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, Divisional EE Sri Ravishankar Reddy, Catering Officer Sri Shastry, Trasnport AEO Sri Devender Babu, Tirumala Driving Inspector Sri Naidu, Transport Superintendent Smt Prabhavathi and others were also present.
