BETTER AMENITIES TO PILGRIMS FOR EKADASI-TTD EO

Tirumala, 8 December 2015: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao on Tuesday called upon the senior officer to provide improvised facilities to multitude of visiting pilgrims who will coming for VAIKUNTHA Dwara darshan on December 21 and 21.

Reviewing the twins religious events of Vaikuntha EKADASI and Dwadasi which falls on December 21 and 22 respectively at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO said elaborate arrangements should be made to see that the common pilgrim is not put to any sort of inconvenience. All the departments should show significant improvement in arrangements in their respective areas.

Instructing the Annaprasadam wing officials he said, “The pilgrims waiting in queue lines should be offered Continuous food at regular intervals. Keep the stock of one Lakh butter milk and two Lakh water satchels ready. The sanitation should also be properly maintained. There should be round the clock supervision by the heads and senior officers of the concerned departments to see that no pilgrim is put to inconvenience”, he maintained.

He instructed the officials concerned to utilise the services of Srivari sevakulu and scouts to serve the pilgrims in an efficient manner. He also instructed the garden and electrical departments to come out with attractive set up matching the occasion.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
