BHAJAN MELAS TO BE STRENGTHNED FROM GRASS ROOT LEVEL- TTD EO

OVER 2000 BHAJAN ARTISTS TO PERFORM ON FEB 22

Tirupati, 21 February 2016: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is aiming at strengthening bhajan mandals from grass root level said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The shobha yatra of bhajan troupes from Govindaraja swamy chowltries to Tiruchanoor was held on Sunday evening. Speaking on this occasion he said, there are thousands of bhajan troupes enrolled with us. During last moth we organised visesha veda parayanam. For this Pournami Garuda Seva at Tirumala on February 22, this time it is the Nagara Sankeertana by Bhajana Mela troupes that is going to be special attraction”, he added.

Later Tirupati JEO sri P Bhaskar said every troupe will be given a chance to perform at Akhanda Hari Nama Sankeertanam at Tirumala”, he added.

HDPP chief Sri Ramakrishna, Editor in chief Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, over 2000 bhajan artistes were also present.
