BOARD GIVES NOD TO REPLICA TEMPLE FOR GODAVARI PUSHKARAMS

Tirumala, 2 May 2015: Immediately after new TTD Trust board sworn in, the maiden board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr Ch Krishnamurthy at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday.
After the meeting addressing media persons he said, as the Godavari Pushkaralu is scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 25 this year, TTD Trust board has given its nod towards the setting up of replica temple of Lord Venkateswara on the Pushkarini Ghat.

The Chairman also said, the board has agreed towards the purchase of 70 lakhs SS full edged blades for tonsuring purpose, 450 Pattu Saris for Sri Tirumala and Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temples, Storage Godown to store human hair in Tirupati.

He appreciated that the EO and his team of officers are doing excellent job in initiating pro-pilgrim measures in Tirumala and other temples.

TTD EO and Ex-officio member Dr D Samba Siva Rao, JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, Special Grade Deputy EO Board Cell Sri Munirathnam Reddy were also present.
