BRAHMOTSAVAM ARRANGEMENTS TO BE MORE ELEGANT THIS YEAR-TTD BOARD CHIEF

TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 3: The arrangements for the ensuing Brahmotsavams are under pace such a way that they will enhance the glory of Lord Venkateswara in every angle than the past ones, asserted TTD Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.

After reviewing with engineering officials over the ongoing arrangements for the mega religious event which are going to be completed by next week at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday, the chairman briefed media on the arrangements.
He said, the management is taking all the initiatives to see that no pilgrims is put to inconvenience whether it is during Darshan or while witnessing Vahana Sevas during brahmotsavams. “Our top priority is to see that a common pilgrim get a hassle free darshan and watch the vahanam processions. He shoukd carry out the sweet memories of his pilgrimage to Tirumala when he returns to his native place. The arrangements are underway with this intention only”, he maintained.

Later, the chairman said all safety measures have been taken in galleries for the extra and exit points. Gates have been erected as a double line of defence for pilgrim safety especially during the Garuda Vahana Seva which witnesses sea of humanity. The chairman also said, “the electrical illuminations will be a special attraction this year than the previous years as we are coming out with innovative mythological themes to give an eye treat to pilgrims”, he added.

On water arrangements, the chairman said, “we are contemplating to perform Varuna Yagam soon seeking good rains and measures are already on to see that there is no water scarcity during the annual Brahmotsavams”, he observed.

Chief Engineer Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy were also present.
