CHAIRMAN, EO INAUGURATES FOOTOVER BRIDGE AND SUB-WAY IN TIRUPATI

TIRUPATI, FEB 23:  TTD Chairman Sri K Bapiraju and EO Sri MG Gopal on Sunday inaugurated the foot over bridge and sub-way in Tirupati for the sake of the denizens and visiting pilgrims.

After performing the puja in Vishnu Nivasam Complex, both the Chairman and EO accompanied by local MLA Sri B Karunakar Reddy and TUDA Chairman Sri M Venkatramana opened the foot over bridge which was built at a cost of Rs.98 lakhs connecting Vishnu Nivasam complex to Tirupati Railway station.  Addressing the occasion the Chairman of TTD said, an escalator will also be erected soon in massive Vishnu Nivasam complex for the sake of the aged and physically challenged pilgrims at a cost of Rs.1.32cr. Meanwhile the steel bridge has a walk-way width of 3.3m and height of 7m.

Later the Chairman and other delegates also inaugurated sub-way near Srinivasam complex which was constructed by TTD at a cost of Rs. 1.32cr to facilitate convenient passage of the public from RTC bus station to Srinivasam Complex. Local MP Dr Chinta Mohan and MLC Sri Srinivasulu Reddy also took part in the inauguration of Srinivasam Sub-way which has a width of 3m, a height of 7m and a length of 32m.

TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Urban SP Sri Rajasekhar Babu and others were also present.
