CHAKRATEERTHA MUKKOTI PERFORMED

Tirumala, 23 November 2015: Special Pujas were performed to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar located at chakrateertham on Monday in connection with Chakrateertha Mukkoti.

Chakrateertham is considered to be one of the most important teerthas among the teerthas present in Seshachala ranges as mentioned in Puranas. It is also considered to be the important one among Saptha Teerthas.

Located adjacent to natural arch, Chakrateertham attractions millions of pilgrims every year. The temple priests perform special Pujas to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Sri Anjaneya Swamy located on the hill rock above the Chakrateertham on the auspicious Kaisika Dwadasi day every year.
