CHAVITI PRAYERS OBSERVED AT FIRST GHAT VINAYAKA

Tirumala, 5 September 2016: The Vinayaka Chaviti festival has been observed with religious fervour in first ghat road on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, the Ghat Road Vinayaka is often believed to safeguard the lives of pilgrims, locals and employees who travel the way. “He ensures safe journey in both the ghat roads”, he added.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, every year on this auspicious occasion, special Puja is performed to this Vinayaka under the aegis of TTD Transport department.

Meanwhile special arrangements have been made for the occasion, including erection of pandals, floral arrangements etc.and special pujas were performed.

DLO Sri Venkataramana, Transport wing head Sri Sesha Reddy, AEO Sri Devender Babu, DIs Sri Rajendra, Sri Bhaskar Naidu and others were also present.
