CHIEF ELECTION COMMISSIONER OF INDIA OFFERS PRAYERS IN TIRUMALA SHRINE

TIRUMALA, 10 MAY 2026:  The Chief Election Commissioner of India Sri Gyanesh Kumar had darshan of Lord Venkateswara and offered prayers to presiding deity inside the temple on Sunday morning. 

At the entrance of the Srivari temple he was accorded warm welcome by the TTD Addl EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary and temple priests.

Later he offered prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara, Vakula mata, Ananda Nilayam Vimana Venkateswara, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimha Swamy in the Sanctum Sanctorum.  After offering prayers the Vedic Pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam to the Chief Election Commissioner at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later TTD Addl EO offered prasadams to the Chief Election Commissioner.

Temple DyEO Sri Lokanadham and other officials were also present.
