CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA TREKS ALIPIRI FOOTPATH

Tirupati, 8 June 2015: The Honourable Chief Justice Of India, Justice H L Dattu started trekking the Alipiri footpath route to reach Tirumala on Monday evening.

Earlier, On reaching Alipiri footpath, he was received by Supreme Court Judge Justice NV Ramana and Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Following the temple tradition, the CJI first offered prayers to Sri Padala Venkateswara Swamy located at the beginning of the Alipiri footpath route.

Later he left for Tirumala through Alipiri footpath route. He is expected to reach Tirumala in the night between 8pm to 9pm.

Justice H L Dattu will have darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday morning.
