CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF OFFERED PRAYERS TO LORD VENKATESWARA

Tirumala, 9 March 2017: Chief of Army Staff Gen Bipin Rawat accompanied by family had Maha laghu darshan of Lord Venkateswara like any other common pilgrim where he offered prayers to presiding deity inside the temple from a distance over 60feet on Thursday. On his arrival in front of Sri Vari Temple the TTD JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju have welcomed the Chief of Army.

Later the Vedic Pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam to the delegates at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Tirumala JEO offered prasadams, Lords Photo to the Chief of Army and his entourage.

Earlier on his arrival at Sri Krishna Rest House in Tirumala, JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju has given a warm reception.

Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, OSD Sri Lakshminarayana Yadav, Parpathyedar Sri Doraswamy Naik and others were present.
