CJI OFFERS PRAYERS

Tirumala, 9 April 14: The Honourable Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice TS Thakur offered prayers during his maiden visit to the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Saturday night.

The Honourable Chief Justice along with Supreme Court Judges Justice Ranjan Goel and Justice NV Ramana was given warm reception by TTD mandarins at the main entrance of the temple and later had darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

The temple priests explained the Honourable justice and his entourage about the significance of Lord and various ornaments being adorned to the presiding deity.

Later the Honourable Chief Justice was rendered Vedasirvachanam by a team of Vedic scholars inside Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD Trust Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Sri K.S.Sreenivasa Raju offered Prasadams to the Honourable ChiefJustice.
