CM PRESENTS SILK VASTRAMS TO LORD VENKATESWARA
Tirumala, Oct 5: Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P Sri N Kirankumar Reddy has presented a pair of `silk vastrams,’ to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on behalf of the State Government, in connection with the Sri Vari Salakatla Brahmotsavam in Tirumala on saturday night.
The Chief Minister carried the silver plate containing the `vastrams’ on his head from the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple to the Venkateswara temple, accompanied by temple paraphernalia and `nadaswaram’ music. Later he presented the `vastrams’ to one of the Chief Priests Sri Ramana Dikshitulu, inside the sanctum sanctorum and TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju, TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, JEO Sri K.S.Sreenivasa Raju presented Sri Vari Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
CM of AP released new year 2014 Rs. 10 and Rs. 7 calendars, book on antique silver and copper coins and Srimadramayana in braille script in Ranganayakula Mandapam inside Sri Vari Temple and later took part in the procession of Peddasesha Vahanam.
Honble Minister Sri Parthasarathy, TTD Chairman Sri K.Bapi Raju, TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, JEO Sri P.Venkatarami Reddy, CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, Board members Smt Rajeshwari, Sri L Sivaprasad and others were also present.
