COMMUNITY SINGING BY DASAPARAS REVERBERATES IN TIRUMALA
Tirumala, 7 February 2016: The hill town of Tirumala echoed to the melodious tunes of over 3000 Dasa Sevaparas who rendered Dasa Bhajans in unison on Sunday, kick starting the three-day Purandhara Dasa Aradhana Mahotsavams in a grand manner.
After the community singing-Nagara Sankeerthana, religious discourses by eminent Kannada Scholars on Dasa Sahitya Prasasthi, Purandhara Dasa Jeevita Visesha etc. were delivered at Asthana Mandapam.
In the evening session, the special officer of Dasa Sahitya Project Sri Anandateethacharyulu in his address said that Dasa Sahitya is one of the chief wings of TTD which is striving towards the promotion and propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma. “Now you should act as the brand ambassadors of HIndu Dharma in you respective areas where you hail from to fulfil our mission of Sanatana Dharma Prachara”, he added.
Later Assistant PRO Ms P Neelima in her address to Dasa devotees, briefed them on Srivari Seva voluntary service. “The noble thought EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao is to utilise your services not only as Dharma Pracharakas but also to offer selfless services to multitude of visiting pilgrims in Laddu Prasada Seva and in other areas of service as you are considered as one of the most active and disciplined wings of TTD “, she added.
Over 3000 Dasaparas hailing from Telugu States, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Maharastra took part in this meeting.
