CORRECTIVE MEASURES TO ACHIEVE EFFECTIVENESS IN ADMIN-EO

Tirupati, 2 March 2017: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has called upon the HoDs of TTD to take corrective measures to achieve the objective of effective working system in the temple management.

A review meeting on TTD Internal Audit was held in the conference hall in TTD Administrative building in Tirupati on Thursday evening. Speaking on this occasion, the EO said TTD has given the priority to provide all sort of amenities to pilgrims, dharma prachara and service activities including medical and health, education etc. He felt that the department wise auditors should discuss with concerned HoDs to solve audit issues if any in the HoD level itself. “For the effective system of audit there is need to develop an Audit Cycle”, he added.

Later reviewing on some important developmental activities the EO said, the ugranam need to completed within nine months with innovative designs and two movement should be enabled. With respect to reception wing, he instructed the concerned to review the occupancy constantly so as to improve the occupancy rate. “Even our TTD kalyana Mandapams need to be improved and kept available in online for booking. The 13 rooms available in Sapthagiri Satralu should also be modified and brought to pilgrim use”, he maintained.

The EO cautioned all the departments to complete their pending works if any as the summer rush will commence from April 15 onwards. With regard to Warehousing department, the EO instructed the concerned to evolve standard of practices and procedures in the department and said high value things can be weighed in bulk.

TTD Internal Audit Committee members Sri Narasimha Murthy and Sri Sarat Kumar, JEOs Sri Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CAO Sri Raviprasadudu and other HoDs were also present.
