TIRUPATI, 09 APRIL 2022: TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy advocated that to save and enhance the indigenous cow breeds there is every need to propagate vigorously in the society about the importance of cow’s dung and urine than milk.
The EO took part in the three day Rayalaseema Organic Mela organised jointly by Go Adharita Vyavasaydarula Sangham of AP and Rytu Nestam Foundation in ISKCON grounds in Tirupati on Saturday evening.
Speaking in the meeting organised by the organizers the EO said TTD has laid focus in promoting desi cows and as a part of its promotion activity we have encouraged Go Adharita Vyavasayam and Govinduniki Go Adharita Naivedyam since last May. We are now going to purchase about 2000 tonnes of organic BG dal required for making laddu prasadam directly from organic farmers.
The EO also briefed on various Go related programmes taken up by TTD in the last one year including Go Sammelanam held during last October, donation of 2000 non productive cows to organic farmers in the last six months,
Small Ghee Making Unit which is also coming up soon in SV Gosala, promoting cow based economy with Panchagavya products, financial aid to Statewide Gosalas through SV Gosamrakshana Trust and many more.
He also briefed on the various future projects, which are under pipeline by AP Government to promote organic natural farming.
The Organising Chief of the Program Sri Kumara Swamy and organic farmers, natural farming experts were also present.
Earlier, the EO also visited the 70 odd stalls displayed in the expo and learnt the significance of the products produced out of natural farming from the stall managers who hailed from the states of AP, TS and TN.

తిరుపతి, 2022 ఏప్రిల్ 09: దేశవాళీ గోవులను కాపాడేందుకు, పెంపొందించేందుకు పాల కంటే ఆవు పేడ, మూత్రానికి ఉన్న ప్రాధాన్యతను సమాజంలో విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉందని టిటిడి ఈవో డాక్టర్ కెఎస్‌.జవహర్‌రెడ్డి పిలుపునిచ్చారు. శనివారం సాయంత్రం తిరుపతిలోని ఇస్కాన్‌ మైదానంలో ఏపికి చెందిన గో అధారిత వ్యవసాయదారుల సంఘం, రైతు నేస్తం ఫౌండేషన్‌ సంయుక్తంగా మూడు రోజులపాటు నిర్వహించిన రాయలసీమ సేంద్రియ మేళాలో ఈవో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ టిటిడి దేశీ ఆవుల పెంపకంపై దృష్టి సారించిందని, ప్రచార కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా గత మే నెల నుంచి గో ఆధారిత వ్యవసాయం, గోవిందునికి గో ఆధారిత నైవేద్యం వంటి కార్యక్రమాలను ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నామన్నారు. శ్రీ‌వారి లడ్డూ ప్రసాదం తయారీకి అవసరమైన దాదాపు 2 వేల టన్నుల ఆర్గానిక్ శెన‌గ పప్పును సేంద్రీయ రైతుల నుండి నేరుగా కొనుగోలు చేయనున్న‌ట్లు తెలిపారు. గత అక్టోబర్‌లో నిర్వహించిన గో సమ్మేళనం, గత ఆరు నెలల్లో సేంద్రియ రైతులకు 2000 ఉత్పత్తి లేని ఆవులను విరాళంగా అందించడంతోపాటు గత ఏడాది కాలంలో టిటిడి చేపట్టిన వివిధ గో సంబంధిత కార్యక్రమాలను కూడా ఈవో వివరించారు.
ఎస్వీ గోశాలలో కూడా త్వరలో చిన్న నెయ్యి తయారీ యూనిట్, పంచగవ్య ఉత్పత్తులతో గో ఆధారిత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థను ప్రోత్సహిస్తామ‌న్నారు. ఎస్వీ గోసంరక్షణ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న గోశాలలకు ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందించ‌నున్న‌ట్లు చెప్పారు. సేంద్రీయ సహజ వ్యవసాయాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడానికి ఏపి ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన వివిధ భవిష్యత్ ప్రాజెక్టుల గురించి కూడా ఆయన వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సేంద్రియ మేళా ముఖ్య నిర్వ‌హ‌కులు శ్రీ కుమారస్వామి, సేంద్రియ రైతులు, సహజ వ్యవసాయ నిపుణులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
అంతకుముందు, ఈవో ప్రదర్శ‌న‌లోని 70 స్టాల్స్‌ను సందర్శించి, ఆంధ్ర, తెలంగాణ మరియు త‌మిళ‌నాడు రాష్ట్రాల నుండి వచ్చిన స్టాల్ నిర్వాహకుల నుండి సహజ వ్యవసాయం ద్వారా ఉత్పత్తి చేయబడిన ఉత్పత్తుల యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యతను తెలుసుకున్నారు.
