CULTURAL BONANZA AT BRAHMOTSAVAMS
Tirumala,October1 6: It is a feast of devotional music and hari kathas at Tirumala on the third day of th ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams.
Pilgrims coming to hill shrine were privy to a jugalbandi of devotional music in form of ballads, dances, folk music and discourses at select auditoriums of Mahati, Annamacharya Kalanitekan and Shilparamam at Tirupati and Nadaya Niranjanam and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and also at the foue mada streets.
The cultural bonanza began on Friday with a hari katha discourse by Sri Suryanarayanamurthy of Hyderabad at the Nada Niranjanam auditorium in front of the Srivari temple. Later in the evening the troupe of Srinidhi rendered melodious Annamacharya keertans and Harinama keertans by the Smt Rani Srinivas. Later G Balakrishna prasad of Tirupati performed at the Unjal seva and finally D ShivaramaKrishna Sharma Bhagavatar rendered a hari katha.
The euphoric cultural activities were lined up at premier auditoriums of Mahati,Annamayya Kala Kendra and Shilparamam in temple town of Tirupati and the open air amphi theater of Nada Niranjanam and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala. The devotional and dharmic wings of TTD-Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad,Annamayya Project and Dasasahitya Project have got up the troupes and artisans from all over Telangana,AP and all India states.
At Mahati, Annamayya Kala Mantapam and Shilpakala thoranams in Tirupati, the devotees and residents of tirupati were enthralled by a stellar performace of Dr Kalaga Krishnamohan, and Dr Jayaprada Ramamurthy who performed on flute, and a Tirupati troupe of Bharat Nritya Kalaniketan presented dance ballads.
TTD has roped in artists,dancers, folk artists etc to present their talents at the various venues of Tirumala and Tirupati to present their skills and enthrall the devotees who have come for the nine day festival of Navaratri Brahmotsavams. The devotees at the Four Mada streets also were exposed to such cultural feast presented by the TTD.
TTD has set up massive LED sets for showcasing the cultural bonanza for all devotees sitting in the galleries of four mada street.The cultural events covered at all venues by the SVBC are aired in quality and HD format for the benefit of the devotees thronging Tirupati and Tirumala.
