CULTURAL PROGRAMS TO REFLECT GANDEUR OF SRIVARI BRAHMOTSAVAM- TTD EO DR D SAMBASIVA RAO

Tirupati, 14 September 2016: TTD will showcase devotional cultural, music programs to reflect and enhance the grandeur of the salakatla Srivari Brahmotsavams, says Executive Officer Dr D. Sambasiva Rao.

He was addressing a review meeting on the Srivari Brahmotsavams with OSD’s of all TTD Projects- HDPP, Annamacharya, Dasa Sahitya, SVBC, Alwar Divya Prabandha Project and SV Music and Dance College at his chambers in the TTD admin building today.

The TTD EO said there should be perfect coordination between the cultural troupes in front of Vahana sevas on the four mada streets, bhajans on special platforms in the galleries and the running commentary for the SVBC channel.

Similarly the cultural activities at Nada Neeranjanam, Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala and Mahati auditorium, Annamacharya Kala Mandiram and Shilpa ramam should be synchronised in a perfect manner so that devotees should miss any one of the cultural feasts meant for them.

The TTD EO insisted that merits and talent should only be the criteria in selection of cultural teams for performance in TTD Brahmotsavam events. The Brahmotsavam should be divided into two slots – first four days and second five days -to enlist many more teams to perform and display their skills.

He wanted the OSD’s of all projects to coordinate and pool their resources, manpower and ensure that the programs presented kept the devotees from all regions enthralled.

In a break from the past the TTD EO said the programs performed by cultural teams on the platforms constructed in the galleries of four mada streets should also be given wide publicity by the SVBC in its telecasts. Since the rituals of Srivari temple during the Brahmotsavams has a worldwide viewership they should be telecast by SVBC with high quality presentation by acquiring HD equipments.

Popular commentators should be hired for rendering the significance of Vahana sevas on Four Mada streets. He also sat through a presentation of promos of cultural teams and arrangements for Brahmotsavams.
