TIRUPATI, JAN 10: The efforts of TTD towards the promotion, preservation and protection of Hindu Sanatana Dharma is impeccable and Dasa Sahitya Project is a revolution today across the nation because of tireless efforts of its special officer Sri PR Ananda Teerthacharyulu, asserted HH Sri Suvidyendra Teertha Swamy from Karnataka.

In his religious discourse on the inaugural session of Traimasika Metlotsavam in III Chowltry in Tirupati on Sunday evening, he said, the service activity should be a “Nishkama Karma” without seeking any privilege. “You serve Lord by serving Devotees. That is the meaning of “Dasa”. Our great saints and Acharyapurushas preached the same. Let us all follow the noble spiritual path shown by them and attain salvation by serving our fellow beings”, he added. Laterhecomplimented TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao for his innovative ideas in spread of Hindu dharma.

In his address TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao complimenting the Dasas as one of the most disciplined and active spiritual wings of TTD in the promotion of Hindu Dharma, he called upon the, to actively take part in the service activity of Laddu Prasada Seva which is also a part of Srivari Seva. “This is a rare opportunity where you can distribute laddu Prasadam with you hands and take the pride of serving the divine prasadam”, he added.

Later he directed the special officer of the project to take up wide spread activity especially in Agency areas of AP where conversions are more. “You can also plan spiritual programs with Dasas in waiting compartments of pilgrims during peak days and create spiritual feel among them”, he added.

Earlier TTD PRO Dr T Ravi, Asst.PRO Ms Neelima informed the Dasas over the mode of participation in Srivari Seva.

YAKSHAGANA IMPRESSES:

After the meeting, the traditional Yakshagana performed by an artist troupe hailing from Udipi won the appreciation of all. Over 3000 Dasaparas from different parts of southern state took part in the programme.

SHOBHA YATRA: Earlier in the evening Shobha Yatra took place from Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple to III Chowltry amidst chanting of Hare Srinivasa..slogans.
