DAY 3 OF ANNUAL THEPPOTSAVAM

Tirumala, 21: On the third day of the annual Srivari Teppotsavam the utsava idols of Sri Malayappa swamy along with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken out for the holy ride in the Swami Pushkarini.

The utsava idols of the deities were brought to the Swami Pushkarini in a grand procession along the four mada streets. Later after 7PM they were taken out on a brightly lighted and colorfully flower decked float.

In the next two days of Teppotsavam the Lord Malayappaswamy decorated in gold and diamond jewellery will ride atop a Tiruchi on the holy mada streets before the float ride to bless the mass of devotees. All senior and prominent officials of the TTD participated in the event.
