DDC TO COMMENCE FROM NOVEMBER 1
Tirumala, 28 Oct. 16: The Divya Darshanam Complex(DDC) building meant for the pedestrian pilgrims will become operations fromNovember 1 on wards said, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The EO on Friday inspected the trial-run of the footpath pilgrim complex in Tirumala along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, which was constructed on the lines of Rs.300 Special Darshan Complex located in Tirumala.
Speaking to media on this occasion, the EO said, the Divya Darshan Complex houses the luggage centre, laddu token counters and the pilgrims will be served with beverages for the sake of the pedestrian pilgrims. The EO also said, that on an average in a year over 60 lakh pilgrims are preferring the foot path routes to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara. “This complex will become fully operational from November 1 on wards and will ensure the footpath pilgrims a comfortable waiting with all amenities till their turn for darshan. We will also erect proper signage for the information of the pilgrims “, he added.
Later the EO interacted with the pilgrims from Nandyal, Krishna who expressed their immense satisfaction over the arrangements by TTD. The EO complimented the Engineering wing, Annaprasadam, IT and Health departments for the arrangements within short time period.
