DEVELOP LOVE TOWARDS MOTHER LANGUAGE TELUGU-YARLAGADDA

Tirupati, 25 February 2017: The strong work force of TTD should develop love and affection towards their mother tongue Telugu and culture, asserted Padmabhushan recipient and Adhikara Bhasha Sangham Vice Prez Dr Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad.

A meeting on Bhasha – Samskriti was held in SVETA to all HoDs and HoSs of TTD in Tirupati on Saturday. Addressing the meeting, the renowned scholar said, it is the first and foremost duty of every employee to develop love and gratitude towards Telugu and our culture. “The HDPP wing of TTD is doing a lot of service in the areas of spiritual and dharmic promotion. It should also take up the programme to develop love towards Telugu and culture among masses”, he sought.

Earlier Sri N Muktheswara Rao, special officer of All Projects in TTD, said, even in the age of Computers, the ancient language of Telugu is making its presence felt as it is considered to be one of the most beautiful languages even by the foreigners. “Thomas Manroe, Brown and others did a lot of research on Telugu and complimented the beauty of the Language. It is now our turn to sustain the glory of our mother tongue and culture for future generations”, he added.

SVETA Director Sri T Anjaneyulu and other senior officers were also present.
