DEVOTEES EXPERIENCES THE “CHILL THRILL” OF CHANDRA PRABHA VAHANAM

Tiruchanur, Dec 5:

 Chandraprabha Rathavistham! Sarvadam Sasiseethalam!

Jamboonada Samakaram! Padmam Devi Maham Bhaje!

While the devotees braved the heat to witness the grandeur of Goddess on Surya Prabha vahanam on Thursday morning, the same devotees experienced a “Chill-Thrill” experience during the ‘Chandra Prabha Vahanam’ performed in the evening.

The Goddess Padmavathi wearing the garland of lilies mesmerised the pilgrims with Her Divine beauty.

As per Hindu mythology, the moon is considered a good omen that bestows luck to all and a sense of courage to the warriors. It also gives a soothing feeling to the disturbed minds. Hence the Goddess takes pleasure ride on the finely decorated Chandra Prabha Vahanam to bless her devotees.
