DEVOTIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS ENHANCE BRAHMOTSAVAM -2016 GLORY

Tirumala, 4 October 2016: The cultural bonanza of bhakti music, devotional harikathas and bhajans for the annual Brahmotsavam put up by the HIndu Dharma Prachara Prachara Parishad, Dasa Sahitya and Annamacharya Projects along with SV Music and Dance college put up at both Tirumala and Tirupati have been a major hit attracting hundreds of devotees.

As part of the same Nada Neeranjanam mangala dwani was performed by B Laskmi Suvarna, Ch Malleswar Rao team and Chaturveda Paarayanam was performed in the early hours of Tuesday. Later the troupe of Smt D Vani of Tirupati recited Vishnu Sahasranamam and the Samudrala Shatagopacharyulu of Warangal rendered Dharmic discourse.

In the morning Smt Aruna prabha Ranganathan of Chennai performed Annamacharya sankeertans in the afternoon and in the evening Sri Kadai Nellore, Sri K Rajagopalan of Chennai performed Nama sankeertan. At night during the Unjal Seva Sri B Raghunath team of Annamacharya Project rendered Annamayya sankeertans. Again at night the team of Smt J Nagamani bhagavathar of Kadiri staged a harikatha ganam.

Similarly at the Asthana Mandapam the team of Sri M Ravichandra and Smt M Manjula rendered bhakti music in the day. The performce of cultural teams including bhajan mandali’s is the star attraction of the Brahmotsavam-2016. Nearly 120 bhajan teams from north coastal districts are participating in various events on Mada streets, open air auditoriums at Tirumala and Tirupati enhancing the devotional elixir of Srivari salakatla Brahmotsavams.
