“DHARMA IS THE CORE CONCEPT OF MORAL LIVING”-BRAHMASRI CHAGANTI

Tirupati, 12 January 2016: Dharma is the basis for leading an ethical and moral life and it is the essence of our Vedas, said, renowned scholar Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao.

In his spiritual discourse on “Dharma Vaisishtyam” organised by HDPP wing of TTD which began at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Tuesday evening, Sri Chaganti said, all the ancient scripts including VEDAS, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavatas preached the righteous way of living. “Among the 84 Lakh living creatures in the wonderful creation of Almighty, it is only the humans who are blessed with senses and feelings. Only the human is “Dharmachari”-one who is able to execute his work or responsibility(Dharma). We should make use of this God given opportunity in the best possible way by following moral way of living”, he added.

Elaborating further, the spiritual master said, VEDAS are nothing but embodiment of Dharma. “Dharma is nothing but the Almighty Himself. That is the reason why our sacred texts taught us –

“Satyam Vada Dharmam Chara”, which are the basic tenets of our SANATANA Dharma”, he asserted.

The entire premises of Mahati Auditorium was jam packed with the audience. While the live telecast of the programme in SVBC between 6:30 pm to 8:30pm hooked many devotees to their television sets in the temple city and across the globe.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, HDPP Secretary Sri Prayaga RamaKrishna, Health Officer Dr Sermista and others also took part in the spiritual discourse programme. Meanwhile the same programme will continue even on Wednesday in the same venue at the same time.
