TIRUMALA, 13 MAY 2022: In the capacity of Executive Officer Full Additional Charge of TTD, Sri AV Dharma Reddy attended his maiden monthly Dial your Programme was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday wherein he answered the queries of 15 pilgrim callers across the Telugu states in detail during this one hour live-in programme. Some excerpts:
Continuing further he said, “whereas the Arjita Sevas were introduced only a few decades ago to enhance the revenue to TTD coffers. Arjitam-means “Income” and introduced only for the sake of pilgrims. Even during festival days like annual Brahmotsavams, Vasanthotsavams, Pavitrotsavams, Radhasapthami we cancel arjitha sevas giving importance to common devotees darshan.
He further informed the pilgrim caller that after a two-year hiatus due to the impact of Covid, the devotees are now turning out to the temple in large numbers. Usually for Astadalam only 100 Grihastas are allowed for the seva. During that time darshan shall be provided to nearly 6000 common pilgrims and similarly for Tiruppavada only 60 Grihastas will be allowed for Seva and in that time over 9000 devotees shall have darshan of Srivaru. Providing darshan to common pilgrims is our top most priority. So we have dispensed with the Arjitha Sevas like Astadalam, Tiruppavada, Nijapada Darshanam only upto June 30 as the peak summer season vacation rush is under progress till that time”, he maintained.
The EO also explained that the TTD has also enabled Darshanam to common devotees even during the early morning sevas so that the devotees shall also experience the Sevas akin to Udayastamana Sevas during their turn of darshan.
Elaborating on dispensing with sevas like Vasanthotsavam, Visesha Puja and Sahasra Kalasabhishekam permanently, the EO said, the decision has been taken in the interest of protecting the processional deity of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi from erosion upon the advice of Agama advisors, Jeeyangars and Veda Pundits. “All these deities are believed to be tens of thousands of years old. We observe nearly 450 festivals in 365 days. This included snapanam to deities in daily seva like Vasanthotsavam and weekly sevas like Visesha Puja and Sahasra Kalasabhishekam. So the religious experts of TTD suggested that this may affect the original deities in the long run. To protect the deities for the sake of future generations, we have taken the decision”, he reiterated.
Responding to a caller Sri Narasimham from Hyderabad, who suggested TTD to limit the darshan to 30-40 thousand pilgrims a day to have hassle-free darshan to everyone, the EO said, “It is indeed an excellent idea and we have even followed the same till April 12. Following the instructions and guidelines of Central and State Governments during the Covid Pandemic, we restricted our numbers to 3000 a day and slowly increased to 60,000. Today we have almost all the categories of darshan with specific time slots so as to enable the devotees hassle-free darshan without much waiting time.
“When we began issuing tokens to the common devotees in Tirupati for Darshan, the people from different places and neighbouring states started to gather at all the token centres in spite of our repeated appeals to them. The accommodation in Tirumala can suffice the needs of 35thousand pilgrims and PACs another 10 thousand plus pilgrims. To avoid a huge congregation of pilgrims, we have allowed them to go for darshan without tokens which paved a way back to the old darshan system. Today we have 90% of the pilgrims having darshan in specific time slots while only 10% have to wait till their turn for darshan”, he added.
A pilgrim caller Sri Jogi Reddy from Guntur sought the EO to telecast the Kalyanotsavam and Unjal Sevas of Tiruchanoor even on Saturdays and Sundays to which Sri Dharma Reddy said, with SVBC gaining immense popularity with its Dharmic activities in the last two years, the programme slots have become very tight. As we also have to relay the Kalyanams of other temples, we will pursue the possibility of telecasting the sevas’, he added.
One Sri Venkat from Kakinada brought to the notice of EO about the multiple seva bookings on a single ID in online lucky dip system to which the EO said the issue will be verified and sorted out soon.
Another caller Smt Anuradha from Tanuku sought EO whether they will get an opportunity to perform in Tirumala to which the EO said, the TTD has stalled cultural troupes following Covid Pandemic in the last two years. As things are now turning to normalcy, henceforth they will get a chance to perform.
EO also attended the calls of the pilgrim callers, Sri Narayana Reddy, from East Godavari, Vijayendra from Hindupur, Smt Bhavana from Visakhapatnam, Smt Suchitra from Hyderabad, Sri Ramesh from West Godavari.

తిరుమల, 2022 మే 13: వేసవిలో భక్తుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని వారి సౌకర్యార్థం జూన్ 30వ తేదీ వరకు మాత్రమే అష్టదళపాదపద్మారాధన, తిరుప్పావడ సేవలను తాత్కాలికంగా రద్దు చేశామని టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి.ధర్మారెడ్డి తెలిపారు. తిరుమల అన్నమయ్య భవనంలో శుక్రవారం డయల్ యువర్ ఈవో కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది. ఇందులో పలువురు భక్తులు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు ఈవో సమాధానాలు ఇచ్చారు.
1. జోగిరెడ్డి – గుంటూరు
ప్రశ్న: ఎస్వీబీసీలో తిరుచానూరు శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కల్యాణాన్ని శని, ఆదివారాల్లోనూ ప్రసారం చేయండి, ఊంజల్సేవను ప్రసారం చేయండి?
ఈవో : తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంతోపాటు ఇతర ఆలయాలకు సంబంధించిన ప్రత్యక్షప్రసారాలు ఉండడంతో ఎస్వీబీసీలో స్లాట్ దొరకడం లేదు. శ్రీ పద్మావతి అమ్మవారి కల్యాణాన్ని, ఊంజల్సేవను ప్రసారం చేసేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తాం.
2. విజయేంద్ర – హిందూపురం
ప్రశ్న: ఎస్వీబీసీలో ఆడియో, వీడియో సింక్ కావడం లేదు?
ఈవో : దాతల సహకారంతో రూ.7 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో అత్యాధునిక స్టేట్ ఆఫ్ ఆర్ట్ కెమెరాలు తెప్పించాం. ఈ సమస్య పునరావృతం కాకుండా చూస్తాం.
3. భావన – వైజాగ్
ప్రశ్న: శ్రీవారి సేవ కోసం ఆన్లైన్లో గ్రూపుగా బుక్ చేసుకోవడం సాధ్యం కావడం లేదు ?
ఈవో : భక్తుల సంఖ్య పెరగడంతో శ్రీవారి సేవకులను ఎక్కువమందిని ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాం. మీకు ఫోన్చేసి శ్రీవారి సేవ అవకాశం కల్పిస్తాం.
4. సుచిత్ర – హైదరాబాద్, యాదగిరి – హైదరాబాద్, ప్రభాకర్ – హైదరాబాద్.
ప్రశ్న: వృద్ధులు దర్శనానికి ఎలా రావాలి ?
ఈవో : వయోవృద్ధులు, దివ్యాంగులు, దీర్ఘకాలిక వ్యాధిగ్రస్తుల కోసం ఆన్లైన్లో రోజుకు 1000 టికెట్లు కేటాయిస్తున్నాం. ఈ టికెట్లు బుక్ చేసుకుని వస్తే నిర్దేశిత స్లాట్లో దక్షిణ మాడ వీధిలోని పాయింట్ నుండి దర్శనానికి పంపుతాం. రూ.300/- టికెట్ బుక్ చేసుకుని కుటుంబంతో కలిసి వచ్చే వృద్ధులను బయోమెట్రిక్ ద్వారా దర్శనానికి అనుమతిస్తాం.
5. రమేష్ – పశ్చిమగోదావరి
ప్రశ్న: ఆర్జిత సేవలు లక్కీడిప్లో కాకుండా ఎలా పొందాలి?
ఈవో : తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆర్జిత సేవల్లో చాలావరకు అడ్వాన్స్ బుకింగ్ ద్వారా భక్తులు బుక్ చేసుకున్నారు. కొన్ని సేవా టికెట్లను ఆన్లైన్లో లక్కీడిప్ ద్వారా కేటాయిస్తున్నాం. విచక్షణ కోటాలో 10 శాతం టికెట్లు మాత్రమే ఉంటాయి.
6. వెంగళరావు – తెలంగాణ
ప్రశ్న: డిసెంబరులో రూ.300/- టికెట్ బుక్ చేసుకుని దర్శనానికి వచ్చాం. గదులు దొరక్క ఇబ్బందిపడ్డాం?
ఈవో : తిరుమలలో 35 వేల మందికి మాత్రమే బస ఉంది. ఇందులోనూ దాదాపు 60 శాతం అడ్వాన్స్ బుకింగ్ కోసం కేటాయిస్తున్నాం. దర్శన టికెట్లతో గదులను కూడా ఆన్లైన్లో బుక్ చేసుకోవచ్చు.
7. వెంకట్ – కాకినాడ
ప్రశ్న: ఆన్లైన్ లక్కీడిప్లో ఒకే వ్యక్తికి 9 సార్లు సేవ లభించింది. పరిశీలించగలరు?
ఈవో : ఆన్లైన్లో లక్కీడిప్ ద్వారా సేవా టికెట్లు కేటాయించే విధానం చాలా పారదర్శకంగా జరుగుతుంది. ఈ విషయంపై విచారణ జరుపుతాం.
8. మస్తానయ్య – నెల్లూరు
ప్రశ్న: వారపు సేవలన్నింటినీ రద్దు చేస్తున్నారు ?
ఈవో : తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో పలు రకాల సేవలున్నాయి. ఆలయంలో ప్రతిరోజూ జరిగే సేవలను నిత్యకట్ల సేవలు అంటారు. వీటిలో సుప్రభాతం, తోమాల, అర్చన, కొలువు, మూడుసార్లు నైవేద్యం, కల్యాణం, ఏకాంత సేవ ఉంటాయి. ఎలాంటి పరిస్థితులు ఎదురైనా ఆగమం ప్రకారం ఈ సేవలను తప్పకుండా నిర్వహించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఈ కారణంగా కోవిడ్ సమయంలోనూ టిటిడి ఉద్యోగులు, అర్చక బృందం ఎంతో అంకితభావంతో విధులు నిర్వహించడం ద్వారా ఈ సేవలను ఏకాంతంగా నిర్వహించాం. ఆలయ నిర్వహణకు కావాల్సిన ఆదాయం కోసం నిర్వహించే సేవలను ఆర్జిత సేవలు అంటారు. వీటిలో వారపు సేవలైన విశేషపూజ, అష్టదళపాదపద్మారాధన, తిరుప్పావడ తదితర సేవలుంటాయి. ఆర్జిత బ్రహ్మోత్సవం లాంటి ఆర్జిత ఉత్సవాలను కూడా నిర్వహిస్తారు. జియ్యంగార్లు, ఆగమ సలహామండలి, అర్చకుల నిర్ణయం మేరకు విశేష పర్వదినాల సమయంలో ఆర్జిత సేవలను రద్దు చేయడం జరుగుతుంది. కోవిడ్ సమయంలోనూ ఆర్జిత సేవలను రద్దు చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. 365 రోజుల్లో దాదాపు 450 ఉత్సవాలు జరుగుతాయి. ఈ ఉత్సవాల్లో నిర్వహించే అభిషేకాల వల్ల స్వామి, అమ్మవార్ల ఉత్సవమూర్తులు అరిగిపోకుండా నివారించేందుకు విశేషపూజ, సహస్రకలశాభిషేకం, వసంతోత్సవం లాంటి ఆర్జితసేవలను వార్షిక సేవలుగా నిర్వహిస్తున్నాం.
అష్టదళపాదపద్మారాధన సేవకు 100 మందిని మాత్రమే అనుమతిస్తారు. ఈ సేవ నిర్వహించే సమయంలో దాదాపు 7 వేల మందికి దర్శనం కల్పించవచ్చు. అదేవిధంగా, తిరుప్పావడ సేవకు 60 మందిని మాత్రమే అనుమతిస్తారు. ఈ సేవా సమయంలో దాదాపు 9 వేల మందికి దర్శనం కల్పించవచ్చు. తోమాల, అర్చన తదితర సేవల సమయంలో ఉదయాస్తమాన సేవ భక్తులు జయవిజయుల ద్వారం దాటి లోపలే ఉంటారు కావున సామాన్య భక్తులు కూడా ఆ సేవను దర్శించే అవకాశం కలుగుతుంది.
9. శ్రీనివాస్ – గుంటూరు
ప్రశ్న: ప్రస్తుతం దర్శన విధానం ఎలా ఉంది ?
ఈవో : ఆన్లైన్లో రూ.300/- టికెట్లు బుక్ చేసుకున్న వారికి నిర్దేశించిన స్లాట్లలో దర్శనం కల్పిస్తున్నాం. టికెట్ లేకుండా తిరుమలకు నేరుగా దర్శనానికి వచ్చే వారికి వైకుంఠం క్యూకాంప్లెక్స్-2 నుండి దర్శనానికి పంపుతున్నాం.
10. నరసింహన్ – హైదరాబాద్
ప్రశ్న: తక్కువ మంది భక్తులను అనుమతించి సంతృప్తిగా దర్శనం కల్పిస్తే బాగుంటుంది ?
ఈవో : తిరుమల శ్రీవారి దర్శనార్థం వచ్చే భక్తుల వేచి ఉండే సమయాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు 1999వ సంవత్సరంలో టిటిడి మాన్యువల్ సుదర్శన టోకెన్లను ప్రారంభించింది. ఆ తరువాత 2004లో ఇ-దర్శన్ కౌంటర్ల ద్వారా కంప్యూటర్ బుకింగ్ను మొదలుపెట్టింది. ఈ టోకెన్లు పొందినవారు నిర్దేశిత సమయంలో స్వామివారి దర్శనానికి వెళ్లే అవకాశం ఉండేది. ఆ తరువాత 2009లో ఆన్లైన్ ద్వారా రూ.300/- దర్శన టికెట్లు ఇవ్వడం ప్రారంభించింది. 2011లో కాలినడక భక్తుల కోసం నడకదారుల్లో ఉచితంగా టికెట్లు ఇచ్చి దివ్యదర్శనం మొదలుపెట్టింది. 2016 నుండి తిరుపతిలో 3 కౌంటర్ల ద్వారా సర్వదర్శనం టైంస్లాట్ టోకెన్లు జారీ చేస్తోంది. ఈ విధంగా రోజుకు 20 వేల ఎస్ఇడి టికెట్లు, 20 వేల దివ్యదర్శనం టోకెన్లు, 20 వేల ఎస్ఎస్డి టోకెన్లు జారీ చేసేవారు. రోజుకు దాదాపు 10 వేల మంది వరకు దర్శన టికెట్ లేకుండా తిరుమలకు వెళ్లి వైకుంఠం క్యూకాంప్లెక్స్ ద్వారా దర్శనం చేసుకునేవారు. కోవిడ్ సమయంలో దివ్యదర్శనం, ఎస్ఎస్డి టోకెన్లు రద్దు చేయడం జరిగింది. కోవిడ్ అనంతరం తిరుపతిలోని కౌంటర్ల ద్వారా ఎస్ఎస్డి టోకెన్ల జారీ ప్రారంభించాం. ఏప్రిల్ 12న ఒకేరోజు ఎక్కువమంది భక్తులు తిరుపతిలోని ఎస్ఎస్డి కౌంటర్ల వద్దకు చేరుకోవడంతో తోపులాట జరిగింది. ఈ కారణంగా ప్రస్తుతం ఎలాంటి టికెట్ లేకపోయినా తిరుమలకు అనుమతించి వైకుంఠం క్యూకాంప్లెక్స్ ద్వారా దర్శనం కల్పిస్తున్నాం.
11. అనూరాధ – తణుకు
ప్రశ్న: అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా సహస్రదీపాలంకార సేవలో పాడే అవకాశం కల్పించండి ?
ఈవో : అవకాశం కల్పిస్తాం.
12. మురళీకృష్ణ – చిత్తూరు
ప్రశ్న: శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో సిబ్బంది లాగేస్తుండడంతో స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకున్న అనుభూతి ఎక్కువసేపు మిగలడం లేదు ?
ఈవో : శ్రీవారి దర్శనార్థం వచ్చే భక్తులను దేవుళ్లుగా భావించి సేవలందించాలని ఆలయంలోని సిబ్బందికి సూచిస్తున్నాం. భక్తులతో ఎలా మెలగాలి అనే విషయంపై వీరికి తరచూ శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నాం. శ్రీవారి సేవకుల ద్వారా కూడా భక్తులను క్రమబద్ధీకరిస్తున్నాం.
జయంతి ఉత్సవాలు
– మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ 292వ జయంతి ఉత్సవాలు మే 14, 15వ తేదీల్లో తిరుమల, తిరుపతి, తరిగొండలో ఘనంగా జరుగనున్నాయి.
– శ్రీ అన్నమాచార్యుల 614వ జయంతి ఉత్సవాలు మే 16 నుండి 22వ తేదీ వరకు తాళ్లపాక, తిరుపతిలో ఘనంగా జరుగనున్నాయి.
