DISTRICT LEVEL COMPETITIONS TO SELECT BEST BBs

Tirumala, 20 December,2016: With an aim to bring out the best from the bhajan brindams, the executive council chaired by TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy has decided to organise district level competitions to select the best bhajan teams.

The HDPP Executive Council meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday after Trust Board Meeting. The council has taken some important decisions. Excerpts:

1. To select best bhajan brindams by holding district level competitions
2. To train the bhajan gurus in dharmic philosophy
3. To give chance to the best bhajan teams to perform during Pournami Garuda Seva
4. As the tenure of the members of District Dharma Prachara Mandalis have come to an end, to select new members which should include one person from bhajan team and one srivari sevak of the respective place.
5. To give full travel expenses to bhajan teams
6. To provide amplifiers and mobile sets through Radio and Broad Casting department to Purana Pundits and Program Assistants while performing in different districts.

Trust board members and committee members Sri Raghavendra Rao, Sri Bhanu Prakash Reddy, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Secretary Sri Muktheswara Rao, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar were also present.
