DIVINE TRIANGLE LOVE SPORT FEST PERFORMED WITH RELIGIOUS ECSTASY IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 26 December 2015 : Thousands of devotees on Saturday converged to witness the “Divine Triangle Love Sport”-Pranaya Kalahotsavam was observed with religious pomp and gaiety in the sacred place of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Saturday evening.
In a typical enactment of a love game, the two divine consorts – Sri devi and Bhoo devi expressed their resentment with the Lord while He endeavour winning their hearts in His own style.

It was all about fun and frolic when the processional deities reached the north-east corner of the hill temple in opposite directions on their golden palanquins where the divine play was enacted.

The priests divided themselves into two groups with one group supporting the lord, the second representing His two consorts. After indulging in a few love baits, both groups engaged in lofting of flower balls at each other, adding the element of enticement.

Devotees were sent into peels of laughter when priests on both sides symbolically enacted escaping the floral ball attacks from the other group.

As part of the festival, authorities had dispensed with the conduct of Vasanthotsavam and Sahasra deepalankara seva on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Tirumala witnessed week end crowd rush with all the compartments full and lines coming outside. TTD has made elaborate Annaprasadam arrangements for the pilgrims in compartments, queue lines and foot path routes also.
