DURMUKHI FOR EVIL SPIRITS AND SANMUKHI FOR DO-GOODERS-SCHOLARS WISH

TTD CELEBRATES DURMUKHI UGADI WITH KAVI SAMMELAN

Tirupati, 8 April 2016: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati DEVASTHANAMS has observed Sri Durmukhi Ugadi in a befitting manner by organising Kavi Sammelanam where in the renowned scholars expressed that Ugadi act as Durmukhi for evil natured persons and SANMUKHI for do-gooders.

The event took place in Mahati Kalakshetram in Tirupai on Friday which was graced by TTD Trust board chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar and All Projects Special Officer Sri Muktheswara Rao.

UGADI WISHES

In their address the chairman and officials wished Telugus all prosperities and happiness to be bestowed in their lives ahead this year.

KAVI SAMMELANAM

Later in the Kavi Sammelanam organised by HDPP wing of TTD the renowned scholars and poets including Puranestihasa Project Special Officer Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Sri Munirathnamma, Sri k Ramamurthy, Smt Ranganayaki, Smt Madhujyothi and others expressed in their own style the effects of Durmukhi impressing audience.

PANCHANGA SHRAVANAM
Earlier renowned Pundit and astrologer Brahmasri Gopavsjjhala Bala Subrahmanyam rendered PANCHANGA SHRAVANAM.

FANCY DRESS BY KIDS ON TELUGU VAITALIKULU

In the evening the fancy dress programme on Telugu Vaithalikulu organised to the children of TTD employees by Ttd Welfare Department remained special attraction with children donning the guise of Rani Rudrama, Nannaya, Annamaiah and many other renowned persons who are pride to Telugus.

Later the prize distribution ceremony was also held.

HDPP Secretary Sri P Ramakrishna, Epic Studies coordinator Sri Damodar Naidu, DyEO Welfare Sri Krishna Reddy and others were also present.
