ELABORATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR VAIKUNTHA EKADASI
Tirumala, 4 Jan, 2017: With just two days left for one of the important and auspicious events of Vaikuntha Ekadasi, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao instructed the officials in Tirumala to make elaborate arrangements for multitude of visiting pilgrims, to provide a hassle free Vaikuntga Dwara Darshanam.
The review meeting on vaikuntha Ekadasi and dwadasi arrangements held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Complimenting the HoDs and employees for successfully organising New Year Darshan on January 1, he directed them to put similar efforts on January 8 and 9 too.
SATYA SAI, ISKCON BHAJANS
To engage waiting pilgrims in religious atmosphere in the specially arranged compartments at Narayanagiri Gardens, the EO instructed the Special Officer of All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao to also take the services of Satya Sai and ISKCON organisations apart from HDPP and Dasa teams. “The Bhajans should be soothing and related to Govinda Namas alone to entertain people”, he added.
AWARDS TO BEST BHAJAN TEAMS
A committee comprises of TTD PRO Dr T Ravi, SO of All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao, SO of Dasa Sahitya Sri Anandateerthacharyulu will decide the top three bhajan teams, EO said.
FIVE PARAMETERS
“Each compartment should be supervised by a committee of senior officers on important parameters including food, water, sanitation, medical services in the Narayanagiri garden compartments. If any problem arises it should be immediately solved without delay”, EO said.
EO COMPLIMENTS SPRH DECORATIONS
The EO also appreciated the Garden Wing Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu for the hanging florals arranged at SPRH in Tirumala for the visit of Honourable PM of India Sri Narendra Modi. ”Similar decoration can be planned for the ensuing big event”, he added.
TIME TO TIME MENU
The menu for waiting pilgrims should also be planned for every hour. Over four lakh water packets and one lakh butter milk packets should be kept available.
INSPECTION
After the review meeting, EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao along with JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju inspected the compartments and toilets constructed at Narayanagiri gardens.
Speaking to media he said elaborate arrangements are in offing for Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi on January 8 and 9 respectively. “We have 54 compartments in Vaikuntham 1 and 2. And we have also constructed 16 more in Narayanagiri gardens which could accommodate another 16 thousand pilgrims. The outside lines also properly lined up to manage heavy Pilgrim rush.
Protocol VIP passes will be issued to the person on his arrival along with five other family members while in the case of officers one plus three will be issued.
No privilege darshan will be entertained. Our motto is to provide vaikuntha dwara darshan to pilgrims on the same day itself with the possible least waiting time”, he asserted.
