ENGINEERS’ DAY OBSERVED

TIRUMALA, SEPT.15: Engineers’ Day has been observed by the TTD Engineers Welfare Association at Tirumala in connection with the 155th Birth Anniversary of Sri Mokshagundem Visveswaraiah, the great scholar,statesman of India.

Ttd Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who graced the function at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday recalled the impeccable services of Sri Visveswaraiah who is considered the “Father of Modern Mysore”. “Even we are blessed to own him as he has designed the first Ghat road plan to Tirumala”, he observed.

Later the JEO congratulated the office bearers of Association.

President Sri Subramanyam, General Secretary Sri Veera Prasad, EEs, DyEEs, AEs were also present.

Earlier in Tirupati, the association has paid floral tributes to the statue of Sri Mokshagundem Visveswaraiah near SV University.
