ENHANCE AMENITIES TO PILGRIMS IN SRINIVASAM AND VISHNUNIVASAM – CHAIRMAN

TIRUPATI, OCT. 6: TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy directed the engineering and vigilance officials of TTD to enhance facilities in Srinivasam and Vishnunivasam rest houses in Tirupati for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims.

The board chief of TTD held a review meeting with these two wings of TTD at his chambers in Madhavam Rest House on Tuesday evening. He has instructed the engineering officials to complete the ongoing repair and renovation works in both the prime rest houses before the commencement of Navarathri Brahmotsavams.

The chairman also directed them to construct a foot over bridge from Srinivasam to other side of the road, so that there will not be any traffic problems to passers by while crossing the road. He told them to improve lighting in Sri KT temple premises and also arrange the continuous sonic effect of “OM NAMO VENKATESAYA” to reverberate in the entire temple town of Tirupati enhancing the spiritual fervour among the denizens.

Later he instructed the vigilance officials to increase the number of CCTVs, luggage scanners etc. in both the rest houses.
