EO COMPLIMENTS THE ‘TEAM EFFORT’ BEHIND SUCCESS OF PADMAVATHI AMMAVARU BRAHMOTSAVAMS

TIRUMALA, DEC 21:  TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, complimented the entire work force of TTD for their team work in making the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor a grand success.

Addressing the complimentary meeting arranged by the staff members of Tiruchanoor temple at Tholappa Gardens in Tiruchanoor on Saturday, the EO called upon every one to continue the same team spirit in the coming years also. “Both the JEOs and other senior officers, staff members worked in unison which brought us a huge success. The garden, health, annaprasadam, vigilance, temple, temple priests, Public Relations Office, medical, police, revenue, panchayat, media and above all locals rendered their co-operation towards the grand success of the mega annual religious festival. You need to maintain the same spirit in future also”, he added.

In his address Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, Tiruchanoor brahmotsavams has become so popular in the past three years. “Today the pilgrims made it a custom to visit Ammavaru temple either before or after the darshan of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. As a result there was a huge increase in the pilgrim influx to this temple in the recent past”, he added.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar who presided over the meeting said, the annual brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavathi went off in a colourful and peaceful manner with out a single incident even on the important days of Gaja Vahanam and Panchami Teertham. He complimented TTD employees for their team effort. He said, the annual brahmotsavams of Goddess have been conducted on par with Srivaru brahmotsavams with out compromise on arrangements in every wing.

In his speech SE III Sri Ramachandra Reddy said, the engineering department along with the support of other departments of TTD took it as a challenge to make elaborate arrangements on part with Tirumala brahmotsavams. “From the past three years, we have been making elaborate arrangements for Ammavaru brahmotsavams without any compromise. I thank every department for extending their support for making these arrangements”, he added.

The meeting was also attended by CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Special Grade Dy EO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, Deputy EOs Sri Siva Reddy, Smt Baby Sarojini, VGO Sri Hanumanthu and other senior officers of TTD. While temple AEO Smt Nagarathna, Superintendents Sri KP Venkataratnamachary, Sri Dharmaiah and other staff members of Tiruchanoor were also present.
