EO COMPLIMENTS TTD VIGILANCE SLEUTHS FOR THEIR TEAM WORK

TIRUMALA, JUNE 16: While complementing the various sectors of vigilance sleuths of TTD for successfully handling the scores of pilgrim crowd who thronged the hill town during summer vacation, TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao complimented the CV &SO Sri G Nagendra Kumar and his team for their team work.

Reviewing on the Ttd vigilance department at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday, the EO said with the day by day increasing pilgrim crowd to Tirumala, there is an urgent need to enhance the efficiency of TTD vigilance wing by increasing manpower as well replace the existing security gadgets with advanced equipment. He said more number of scanning machines at Alipiri check point, Door Frame Metal Detectors(DFMDs) at vital points, Mist Vehicles, Fire Extinguishers at important godowns, steel mobile units and safety lockers at Parakamani Hall inside temple, CC TVs in all sub- temples of TTD should be installed wherever there is necessity.

He also said, “man power also need to be enhanced in the core areas of footpath routes, VQC II, scanning points etc. especially during peak days to avoid inconvenience to multitude of visiting pilgrims”, he maintained.
Later the EO reviewed the core issues sector wise for about two hours. Additional CVSO Sri T Sivakumar Reddy, VGOs, AVSOs and VIs were also present.

EO REVIEWS ON RS.300 ON-LINE TICKETS

With an aim to provide more comfortable darshan to the scores of visiting pilgrims in a planned manner with definite time slot, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed the IT wing to enhance time slots of Rs.300/- on an experimental basis.
Reviewing with Temple and IT wing on Rs.300 special entry darshan tickets, the EO said, since the next couple of months are going to be lean period a trial run of Rs.300 tickets can be executed by increasing the evening slots. He has instructed the IT wing head Sri Sesha Reddy to work negotiating with Temple and Vigilance wings and come with a possible action plan in the next two days.
Later EO also inspected the on going improvement works at PAC II and other places in Tirumala.

CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana, OSD temple, OSD EDP Sri Balaji Prasad, Sri Seshadri, Bokkasam Incharge Sri Gururaja and others were also present.
