NO COMPROMISE ON PILGRIM SERVICES

CAUTION DEPOSIT COUNTERS ALSO TO FUNCTION AS DONOR SERVICE COUNTERS

Tirumala, 29 November 2016: There should not be any compromise in providing amenities to the pilgrims especially during the cash crunch situation both at Tirumala and in Tirupati said, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The weekly review meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday. Directing the officials of various departments who are extensively engaged in pilgrim services including darshan, accommodation, Prasadam, Annaprasadam etc. the EO asked them not to compromise in offering necessary amenities to the pilgrims as they are the top priority. He also said the Annaprasadam will continue up to the year end till the aftermath situation of demonetisation comes to normalcy.

The EO also instructed to keep more swiping machines for the convenience of the pilgrims and see that they does not face any sort problem.

HEALTH INSURANCE

The EO also instructed the officials concerned to implement health insurance to the workers negated in Potu, Transport, Annaprasadam, Kalyana Katta where more physical activity is involved.

IMPROVEMENT OF SRIVARI METTU

Later the EO also felt the need to enhance cleanliness in Srivari Mettu footpath route. He directed the broad casting officials to see that the entire premises echo with Govinda Namas.

CD COUNTERS AS DONOR SERVICE COUNTERS

The EO instructed the concerned officials of Donor cell and Reception wing to take initiative to function the 15 Caution Deposit counters located in Tirumala as Donor Service counters too in helping out donors with necessary information, e-donation etc.
“Enable measures to carry out the sale of calendars, diaries, publications through theses counters”, he added.

Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy and other HoDs were also present.
