EO INSPECTS KANYAKUMARI TEMPLE

Kanyakumari, 18 September 2014: TTD EO Sri MG Gopal on Thrusday inspected the site where the replica temple of Lord Sri Venkateswara is set to commence soon at Kanyakumari.

Later addressing media persons, the EO said, the construction works of the massive Lord Venkateswara temple will be commenced in the next couple of days in the sprawling 4.5 acres of land at a cost of Rs 22.5crores. “We have already performed bhoomi puja and now the construction of this replica temple is all set to begin in this beautiful peace of land which is a synonym for spirituality”, he added.

Earlier during the day, the EO had darshan of Goddess Kanyakumari. Executive Engineer of TTD Sri Jagadishwar Reddy was also present.
